So how do I go about starting a company, NGO or becoming a business investor in Zanzibar? It is not as straight forward as it may first appear:
We would recommend visiting the island on a three month business visa first. If you come on a tourist visa you will not be permitted to earn money whilst in the country. But if you come from a country for which Tanzania requires a visa, then in order to get an online Tanzanian business e-visa, you must have obtained a service agreement, and a covering letter inviting you to work with an existing company, NGO or organization on the island.
